We host the New York City School
District Universal Pre-K program for 4 year olds in our community. Children in
our program learn the basics of classroom life and live an
integrated curriculum that helps prepare them for their future
academic career. We have many learning centers that change
throughout the year as well as a computer lab with access to the
internet to help our children get a head start in technology
learning. We believe that parents are an integral part of a
child's growth and have ample opportunities for involvement in our
school. Our teachers hold Master level degrees in Early
Childhood Education and have many years of teaching experience.
We work intimately with The Douglaston School of Literature, PS98
which is our local zoned school. If you have questions about
our program please contact the church office at 718-229-2169 or head
teacher Miss Elizabeth at 718-767-1961.

COMPUTER CENTER LEARNING SITES
Our teachers
have begun technology training classes with a professor of Education at Molloy
College, learning how to most effectively integrate
technology into the classroom. As the school year continues, we
will be using the computer lab more often.
We also need
volunteers for our computer lab times to help the teachers in the
classroom and the lab. If you would be willing to help, please
let Miss Elizabeth know so that we can plan accordingly(718-767-1961)
.
We would like you to
know which websites the children are visiting in
our computer center time to integrate
technology into our learning. Please feel
free to visit these sites at home with your child to reinforce what
they are working on in school.
